Manage your phone numbers

VoIP gives you more flexibility in allocating your company's phone numbers: geographical or non-geographic number allocation (08 and 09) or international number allocation. Your existing numbers are retained, regardless of your previous operator, and you are automatically listed in the Yellow Pages directory.

Features

SIP Trunk is a service provided by an IP telephony operator (ITSP). It allows incoming and/or outgoing calls to be routed via a secure connection on the broadband Internet network using the SIP protocol.

The SIP protocol (Session Initiation Protocol), is a protocol that has been standardized by the IETF. Gradually replacing the H323, it has been designed to initiate, modify and terminate multimedia communication sessions (voice, video, messaging, presence).

OpenIP has been developing its own SIP authentication servers in order to optimize the security of its services, and continuously increase their interoperability with the different equipment, networks and applications on the market. Calls can be compressed, and can use different levels of bandwidth. OpenIP's SIP Trunk Touch is compatible with all devices operating in registered or authenticated SIP. This interoperability makes configuration easier on all compatible IPBXs.

OpenIP's SIP infrastructure supports G711a codec (64kb per call) and G729 codec (15kb per call).
